About The Owner
Hello, there. My name is Uriah Carter, and my musical journey began at a young age. I remember being about 4 years old, with the ability to whistle with control. My mother claimed she had no idea where it came from, since she couldn't whistle at all. To her credit, she's always had a beautiful voice.
Growing up, I would sing my favorite songs. I performed in school plays and musicals, and eventually signed up for Vocal Choir in Junior High. I continued singing, even though my enrolled focus shifted to Soccer in High School. A lot of the guys on the team played guitar, and eventually I felt compelled to learn as well.
I was fortunate enough to be gifted a Bass guitar and amplifier from my cousin. It even came with an instructional VHS Tape! I played on the bass for about 3 months, continuing to realize that the music I wanted to produce was only going to come from a 6-String Electric Guitar.
With my first real job (selling electronics at Sears) I saved up and purchased my first Arbor electric guitar and Fender amplifier. I loved every minute of playing my new guitar, and once I knew I wouldn't stop I enrolled in my first College Guitar Class, as well as Private Lessons. Not too long after, I invested in the guitar you see here: my Schecter C-1 Classic, in Deep Sea Green.
I have played guitar for over 15 years, have been teaching for more than 6 years--3 of those years at a local music school--and I continue to learn and grow as time continues.
I appreciate you for taking the time to read my story, and look forward to guiding your musical journey.
